Across the Country on Four Wheels

Hello All, I am currently travelling across the country by car. Its my second time piling into my families Toyota Prius and hitting the American Interstates. At the moment I am in Howe, Illinois. We have been driving over 10 hrs a day and we have already driven over 2000 miles. We are hoping for one more day of long driving before reaching our destination: Stratford, NJ.

I am already missing California, so far its been McDonald, KFC and Taco Bell. I am looking forward to some Indian food when I get to NJ. (I know I spent 3 months in India, but I just love the food).

We are driving Hwy I-80 across, which is called the Loneliest Road in America, and who ever named it is correct. Most of the trip has been rolling fields and desert. I have gone through half my 600 page book. Off the freeway there are not many options for food, especially healthy vegetarian food. If you are making this trip I recommend investing in some sandwich makings.

I have less than 1000 miles to go and I am excited to finally reach my destination.
